The location of the town makes it ideal to use as a base to explore the rest of the country as it is fairly centrally located and near to the main routes, or charter a small aircraft and fly to the various destinations. It is a short drive from the coast with its beautiful beaches and the unique dune fields, fine weather and great fishing. Head west and explore the nearby garden route then on to the wine route and Cape Town, or head east to the Wild Coast onto Kwa Zulu Natal. To the North is the Orange Free State, Lesotho and the Gold fields of the Country....
